Hi there, I’m Sharon.

I have worked as a Bookkeeper and Finance Manager for over 20 years, and have a true passion for accounting and administration.

My career in accountancy began when raising my two children. Members of my extended family had set up a small business and needed ad-hoc help with bookkeeping, running payroll and overseeing the general day-to-day data entry that their business required. Having spent the years since leaving school at a local newspaper in their bookkeeping department, I offered my support on a flexible basis using the skills I’d learnt at the newspaper to help the family business business grow.

Twenty years later, my children have grown up and my career has truly flown in the finance direction. I’ve headed up the accountancy departments for global businesses in the industrial sector and insurance sector.

But now, as I stand at this point in my career, I look towards whats next. And I’ve come to realise that my true passion lies in supporting businesses like that of my family’s all those years ago. Having a reliable port-of-call really helped their business in its infancy, and at a time when its harder than ever for small businesses to expand and grow, I want to be able to play my part in helping their development.
